The original SILC logo

While sorting through a large box of past SILC newsletters today, I came across this interesting page about how the original SILC logo was designed. It was created in 1993 by an Australian lady, Annette Hoare and the article explains the thinking behind the design.

Our new logo has been designed to be more flexible with todays social media and following a survey amongst the committee last year, it was decided to keep the house for our new modern logo. So thank you to Annette for a design that has served us well for 25 years and continues into the future.
