Photography Workshop

Start seeing the world in a different light! This 3 hours workshop will teach you the basics of photography. Both technical details (such as how to operate a camera, aperture, exposure, shutter speed and ISO) and creative concepts (including modeling tips) will be covered. Come along and you will be sure to gain lots of useful knowledge.  This workshop is suitable for smartphone and professional camera users.

Day Trip to Koh Si Chang

Self Defense

Aqua Zumba try out

Aqua Zumba brings new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. It combines the South American Zumba rhythm and dance steps with a pool party. It offers a fun but challenging, water-based, body-toning workout.

 

Expect to burn up to 400 - 500 calories in 1 hour training without all the sweating, joint pain, and boring routines.

Craft Circle

Because SILC ladies LOVE to craft, we plan to keep meeting on Monday mornings to enjoy and  learn new craft skills together. All are welcome!

 

 

This month we will be learning together how to do  Macrame ( 2nd & 9th September) and Cartonnage (23rd & 30th September).

Mahjong

Mahjong is a traditional Chinese game, played by four people around a square table. The game is played with tiles rather than playing cards. The aim is to be the first player to get a complete hand; four sets of three and a pair, or a special hand.  

It is a great social game, lots of chatting and laughing too along with tea/coffee and snacks brought along by the participants and a delicious lunch.  

We meet each Wednesday, taking it in turn to host - it's social, fun & keeps the grey matter active!

No experience needed - we have members that have played for years and those that have recently started - help and advice readily available.​

Pilates

The Pilates method seeks to develop controlled movement from a strong core. This low-impact exercise, when done correctly, helps with postural alignment, strengthens muscles, increases flexibility, improves balance and coordination.
