All change at the AGM

Wednesday morning this week saw a committed group of SILC ladies gathering in the conference centre at Bangkok Patana School for the annual AGM.

As is usual at a SILC event, there was coffee & tea and a good variety of cake and other nibbles, this went down well with the catch up chatter and laughter before the serious business began.

Tracey talked us through her slideshow of events and happenings of the last year followed by a report on the finances and the community projects. There were thanks and some farewell gifts for committee members who are leaving Bangkok this year, Jan, Kay & Marianne. Then it was onto the electing of the new committee. Most places already have volunteers for the vacant positions so it was an easy task of agreeing and seconding by the SILC members present.
